I saw Karter in person at the recent CFI Carolinas Winter Showcase, and he’s every bit of the 6’2 and 290 pounds he’s listed at. The impressive thing is how well Karter moved at that size – he didn’t look like just a big mauler who looks out of place in pass protection. Karter has good footwork and overall fundamentals, and that is reflected in his highlight film that led to an All-Conference selection for this past season.

I didn’t know a lot about Karter coming into this showcase, but he was named an All-Conference OL selection and shows some really good stuff in run blocking on film that you get excited for. So I was glad to see him come to this showcase and show relatively well in pass protection also. As Karter works this offseason, I could see him doing well at some local college camps in the spring and getting onto their radars as a potential prospect.
