Gosser returns for his second season with the Kentucky Future Stars looking more confident and physically developed than he did a year ago. Gosser has good speed in the open field and has reportedly added some muscle since last season, which should help make him an even tougher runner and more complete back heading into this year’s campaign. During the offseason, he continued to sharpen his game playing for Kentucky Prime, where he earned Game MVP awards thanks to his playmaking ability and consistent production. With another year of experience under his belt and continued growth both physically and on the field, Gosser looks poised to be a key contributor in Kentucky’s backfield this season.

Coming into the game I knew Karsen Gosser Karsen Gosser RB Garrard | 2030 KY had some speed, but he confirmed that with his first carry of the ball game. Despite fumbling initially, and then receiving a gratuitous bounce, Gosser motored for a first down late in the opening quarter. He only had a few carries in the game, but he made the most of his opportunities and looked quick on the field.

Running Back Karsen Gosser Karsen Gosser RB Garrard | 2030 KY is a new name to me out of the Garrard program, that has a number of impressive 2029 and 2030 prospects this past season. In addition to suiting up for Garrard, Gosser also played travel ball with the KY Prime program. I’ve only see a few clips of Gosser from the 2024-2025 season, but the immediate take away is that he appears to have pretty good speed out of the backfield. While not as physically developed (at this point) as some of the other RBs in this write up, his speed checks out. I look forward to getting a closer look at him during the Future Stars event in June.
