Now standing at 6’0 170, he is in a better position to get noticed by college coaches with his frame. This duo will be dynamic for years to come.

Kaleb put together a really solid first season taking over as a freshman at traditional powerhouse Havelock, and that’s no small feat. Stepping into that kind of program early, he showed poise, confidence, and the ability to lead. He finished with just under 1,000 passing yards and 8 touchdowns, giving a glimpse of what’s to come. Ranked as the #5 QB in his class, Kaleb has all the tools and upside to take a major leap. With a full year under his belt and continued development, he’s primed for a breakout sophomore season and could quickly rise as one of the top young quarterbacks in the state.

Havelock got off to an unusually rocky start in 2025, especially offensively, but Montanye moved up from JV early in the year and flashed elite potential. There was a predictable learning curve, and he never really found consistency with his feet, even though he has that rushing skill in his arsenal. While the rushing production wasn’t there, he made huge strides as a passer and looks poised to lead the Rams in 2026.
