The Bears pounded Hardin Valley last week 40-7 and Martin was a major factor behind the blowout of the Hawks. The East TN two-way talent who is headed to Miami Ohio as a defensive back, was explosive and efficient in Week Eight, producing five total touchdowns with most of the damage coming by way through the air. Martin is a talented young man with size and natural athletic abilities that translate well to the college game, especially on the defensive side of the ball but he certainly earned this award with his offensive prowess.
