Just get the ball in his hands, and good things will happen. Tate is a special talent who has posted some impressive numbers in 2026. On 127 rushes, he has 1,116 yards and 16 touchdowns, with another 14 receiptions worth 225 yards and another TD. Oh, and if that’s not enough, how about 73 tackles, 5 PBUs and 2 forced fumbles?

On film, the vision and instincts are obvious. He has a great feel for when things are about to open up, and he is able to start making that cut before anyone else sees it. When he gets in the green grass, defenders have a difficult time getting their hands on him. Even when they do, he is able to shimmy and spin his way out to continue churning yards. There’s no question, there is a team that could get better by getting him on their roster.

Kaelin is a player who is having a massive year for the Paw Paw Red Wolves. Kaelin has put up huge number’s as the marquee player featured in his squad’s offense. Kaelin has 831 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground. He also has 10 catches for 161 and a TD through the air. all this in just 6 games. The first thing that pop’s on film for Kaelin is the elusiveness he displays. He has an excellent jump cut and stops on a dime to reverse field and pick up big chunk plays. I am also impressed with Kaelin’s power he displays. He breaks multiple tackles and picks up big yards after first contact. Kaelin also has very good speed as he does not seem to get run down on long runs. Kaelin is extremely impressive and is a player that scouts should be flocking to for a better look at as dangerous offensive weapon. Super impressed with this senior running back.

I evaluated Tate awhile back, so I was excited to dive into his tape from this past season. He suffered a broken collarbone halfway through the season, but his film was still full of good stuff. Coming up from the safety position, Tate understands pursuit angles and leverage better than most. While he doesn’t have the most fluid backpedal, he is still able to flip his hips and run with his receiver. His closing speed is definitely above average. I still have him projected as a safety prospect for the next level.

This is a kid who seemed to have a pretty special season in 2024, and displayed his versatility in the process. Tate showed the ability to be a cover guy who can stick with receivers and play the ball. He is good for PBUs and interceptions at any time. He also has great closing speed, takes good angles and can deliver some devastating hits. He can play physical in the box and be a force in the run game as well as a ballhawk on the back end. I’ll be keeping my eye on what kinds of strides he makes in his game this season.

I don’t have a whole lot of film to go off of, but it seems like Kaelin should be on my radar at the very least.

His statline is amazing, especially for a 2027 prospect. In a few weeks, I’d love to see a mid-season highlight tape.

The one play that I can see shows a phenomenal hit-stick. It seems like Kaelin came down from his DB/S position to lay the wood on an unsuspecting receiver. If he can hit like that and have those stats, I’d expect Kaelin to be a good athlete and overall a future college prospect.
