Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A tough, gritty who-way standout who can run through linebackers at running back and crush running backs at linebacker, Carter is a small-town athlete who brings a physical style of play no matter where he’s lined up. A true competitor who doesn’t want to leave the field, Carter brings great energy and the ability to play hard on both sides of ball all game long. Defensively, the 6-foot-2 210-pounder made 65 tackles, nine TFLs, and two sacks. He also added one interception and forced two fumbles. At running back. Carter ran for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s one of the top two-way prospects in the state and should only be better next year as a senior.

An outstanding Middle Georgia linebacker who continues to add big offers, this tough, gritty defender already holds a big offer list, and this week he earned a new offer from the Texas A&M Aggies. At 6-foot-2 205-pounds, Carter reacts quickly against the run and knows how to attack the ball-carrier while delivering a violent tackle. As a sophomore last fall, the two-way standout made 71 tackles, four TFLs, one sack, and one fumble recovery. Through the first three games of his junior season, Carter has made 11 tackles and is playing at a high level. He’s also been active on offense at running back due to his toughness and max-wffort style of play. He moves well, shows strong instincts, and brings a level of small-town toughness you don’t see in a lot of players. Look for offers to keep rolling in for this fast-rising defender.
