brings a true strong safety skill set to the field, excelling both in the box and in coverage. He thrives around the line of scrimmage, already tallying a forced fumble and multiple tackles for loss early in the 2025 season. Connelley plays with a downhill mentality, using his physicality to disrupt the run game, while also showcasing sharp instincts in the passing game with quick breaks on the ball and timely pass deflections. His versatility and reliability have not gone unnoticed, he currently holds 10+ offers from a mix of FBS and FCS programs. With continued impactful play, expect his recruitment to rise even further. Whichever program secures Connelley will be landing a dependable, tough safety who can erase mistakes in the secondary and add immediate value as a run supporter.

is quickly becoming one of the more intriguing safety prospects in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound enforcer out of the secondary holds 12 offers, including FBS programs like North Carolina-Charlotte, Boston College, Pitt, and East Carolina. On the FCS side, Sacred Heart and Rhode Island are among the programs keeping close tabs on his development.
Connelley’s game is built around physicality and presence. With his impressive frame and aggressive downhill style, he thrives in run support. He delivers clean, punishing hits and is a sure tackler in space, both at the line of scrimmage and downfield after the catch.
But his value extends beyond the box. As a deep safety, Connelley does a strong job patrolling the top of the defense. His instincts and range allow him to consistently position himself in throwing lanes, leading to several interceptions last season. He plays with a high motor and a clear understanding of the game, showing the ability to diagnose plays and take smart angles to the ball.
With a blend of size, toughness, and field IQ, Connelley is the type of prospect who fits multiple defensive schemes at the next level. His recruiting stock is trending up, and with more eyes expected on him during his senior campaign, a commitment announcement could be looming. Until then, expect both FBS and FCS programs to stay in the hunt for one of the more physically gifted safeties in the class.

Connelly recently received an offer from Hampshire, adding to his growing list of scholarships, which includes Pittsburgh, ECU, and Marshall, among others. Standing at 6’3″, he is already an imposing physical specimen. Connelly plays with explosiveness, consistently coming downhill and delivering powerful hits. Despite his height, he possesses the athleticism to stay with receivers in coverage and even demonstrates versatility by playing receiver on offense.

Kaai is a player I saw multiple times this past fall and came away very impressed with his play. He went from mainly playing WR as a sophomore to stepping in at FS as a junior, had a lights out year and that is why he made a jump of over 10 spots and became a top 50 player in these recent rankings.
Standing 6’2″ with great length, Kaai is a rangy DB who can cover lots of ground and close on the ball quickly. He will also come down, run the alley and lay a smack on the ball carrier. Saw him live against Archbishop Carroll (DC) where he came down hill and put hat on ball to force a fumble. A ball hawk back there at safety, Kaai gets plenty on INTs and PBUs.
Currently holding 5 total offers with 2 of them being from Power 4 schools, I really like his potential. As Kaai continues to develop and fill out his frame, expect a big spring/summer season in his recruitment. I think he can be a 20+ offer kid and could continue to rise up the rankings in the future.
