Freeman is a back who brings speed and physicality to his game, making him a must know name in 3A. When he finds an opening, he has the speed to be an explosive playmaker and can outrun defenders for big gains. He is just as comfortable lowering his shoulder and fighting through contact for tough yards. Freeman rushed for over 1,000 yards last season and was able to punch it in for 10 touchdowns. His versatility allows him to break off a long run or grind out yards between the tackles. As a consistent producer with the ability to break open games, Freeman will be a player on the radar as he looks to take another step forward in his development.

Freeman was 2^nd in Junior rushing yardage. The 6’0 175-pound RB/MLB had 178 carries for 1174 yards and 10 touchdowns. He got some action as a linebacker in 4 games wracking up 14 total tackles (7 solo, 7 assisted) 1 TFL, and 1 sack. Freeman has good athletic ability due to his very good acceleration, speed, good change of direction and balance. He uses his good vision at the line of scrimmage to identify which hole to attack. He uses jump cuts to go quickly move from 1 to the other. Freeman is a physical back. He thrives with putting his shoulder down and trucking through the defender. Even though he excels in between the tackles, he also uses his athletic ability to create mismatches on the edge. Uses his home run speed to run past the 2^nd and 3^rd level defenders. Freeman is another exciting prospect coming out of 3A.

Freeman brought consistent production to Pueblo East with 1,174 yards on 178 carries, averaging 6.6 yards per rush and finding the end zone 10 times. His blend of size and acceleration allows him to punish defenders at the line while maintaining explosiveness through the second level.

Freeman showed he can be a focal point in this rushing attack with his strong performance on the ground. Freeman rushed for 114 yards and 1 TD, consistently making the first defender miss and picking up chunk yardage throughout the game. His quickness and vision allowed him to navigate through the defense and create big plays. His ability to break off big runs will make him a difference maker later in the season.
