Derickson is a bruising hog molly who eats up the run game. Measuring in at 6’5 245 pounds, he’s got good size for a defensive lineman. Derickson has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, good speed, and solid change of direction. I’m impressed with Derickson’s initial quickness out of his stance. He engages the OL first, and ends up victorious. Uses a low pad level and good hand placement to control the OL. Derickson also relies on his body to overpower the OL and get behind them. Justus has very good strength, and eats up double blocks for breakfast. He has a head full of steam, and will keep rushing the QB until the ball is thrown. Derickson also uses his lengthy arms to create pass deflections. He’s a formidable defensive lineman who looks to continue dominating offensive lines.
