Stephenson is an athletic quarterback who can stretch the field both vertically and horizontally for Lithia Springs. He has the arm strength to take the top off of the defense with touch or rip the ball into tight throwing windows. His mechanics are sound and he has a tight throwing motion, helping him to quickly pull the ball and throw to receivers in stride on RPOs. He can work on time and in rhythm in his drops, but he can also improvise and extend plays when needed. His speed and athleticism can create explosive plays on the ground, both when scrambling and off of zone read. This threat pulls defenders to the line of scrimmage, opening downfield throwing lanes which he can identify and exploit for big plays.
