Justin McGill Justin McGill 6'0" | 280 lbs | DL Salesianum | 2026 State MD ‘s explosiveness and finesse immediately stand out on film. He fires off the ball with urgency, exploding into the backfield and bringing power at the point of attack. McGill consistently shocks offensive linemen with a violent first strike, shooting his hands into their chest to jolt them backward and disrupt plays before they can develop.
McGill shows advanced hand usage, mixing in quick swim moves and effective rips to work around blocks. His ability to pair burst with technical hand fighting allows him to win both with speed and strength, making him a consistent backfield presence.
That combination of power, quickness, and polish has translated to college interest, as McGill currently holds offers from Stonehill, Marist, West Chester, West Virginia State, and Lincoln University.

Overview: McGill is a three-down defensive lineman who can rush the passer and stuff the run. He lines up anywhere from the 1 technique to the 5. His rips throughs or swim moves on the interior allow him to beat his man and get to the QB. McGill plays with good leverage against double teams, clogging whatever gap the offense is trying to run through. And if he’s one-on-one, he can rag-doll the offensive lineman. He gets the same results when he plays offensive guard. McGill projects as a 1 technique defensive tackle who can do whatever is needed from there and situationally bring inside pressure from the other DT spot.

Justin McGill Justin McGill 6'0" | 280 lbs | DL Salesianum | 2026 State MD is a disruptive force in the middle. He’s quick off the ball and wastes no time getting into the backfield. McGill’s hands are active and violent. He knows how to keep blockers off him and doesn’t stay blocked for long. McGill’s highlights show a great mix of moves, especially his swim and counter techniques.
Another thing that stands out most about McGill is his motor. He plays every snap like it matters, chases plays down, and never gives up. He’s got strong upper-body power and agile feet for a guy his size. He doesn’t just bull rush; MGrill also wins with skill and timing.
He’s undersized at 6 feet for a defensive tackle. Against bigger, longer offensive linemen, he might have to fight harder for leverage. Still, the tools are there. He’s explosive, aggressive, and coachable. McGill will be a real problem for the offensive linemen he will face this upcoming season.
Note: He attends Salesianum.
