About Julius

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m very passionate about the game and I play with a high level of intensity every snap. I like to play fast, be physical, and set the tone on the field. I take pride in playing aggressive but disciplined football, attacking my assignment and finishing plays. I enjoy contact and don’t shy away from it, whether that means taking on blocks, making tackles, or competing at the point of attack.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m laid back and easygoing off the field, but I flip the switch when it’s time to compete. I’m highly competitive, focused, and play with a win-first mentality. I take pride in doing my job for the team and giving maximum effort to help us succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society and have earned Honor Roll recognition with a 3.8 GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am actively involved in community service, especially during the holiday season. I strive to be a student of the game by consistently watching film and learning from both preparation and playing experience. I am very team-oriented and make it a priority to uplift and support my teammates at all times. I enjoy building strong personal relationships with others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced challenges transitioning from pee wee football to the higher speed and competition of middle school football. Balancing football, school, and family responsibilities has also been a challenge. Going through losses taught me how to stay positive, learn from setbacks, and use them as motivation to get better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a strong business program that values academics as much as athletics. I want to be part of a football program that is team- and family-oriented, emphasizes good work ethic, accountability, and player development, and provides a positive environment where I can grow both on and off the field.

Tims’ speed and athleticism popped all day long. In the testing he flashed a 4.50 forty. Which is a great time for a high schooler let alone an 8th grader. Not just does he have great straight-line speed, but he is explosive laterally. He showed off a nice jump cut. Julius attended the showcase as a running back, but I could honestly see him playing any skill position offense or defense. As he gets bigger and stronger he’ll find a positional fit that suits him best. The future is bright for this young man.
