About Julio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a hard worker. I play at one level. I push every play and work as a team on the line. I don't worry about beating someone because I know they have to get through me. My job is keeping others from doing theirs and I'm very good at it. When I step on the field I know I'm the best lineman there.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard work beats talent all day but, I have both. I train all year from off-season with Sasa Squad football and boxing to wrestling. I train at home before school. I push hard to be the best. I train when others don't. I'm #1 in my class with a 4.6 GPA so I will beat others mentality and physically too.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been with Sasa Squad Foundation for over 4 years for training but we also work with the community helping teens.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been running football camps from the age of 13 to help kids get better. This year I added a combine. Sports help kids make better choices for school and other areas. It's doesn't matter if I'm the best if I can't help the people around me get better.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I believe everything happens for a reason. If you keep your head up and push you will find the right path with God's help. Learn from things good or bad.

What type of college are you looking for?

My schooling is #1 with a competitive football team. A positive culture on and off the field. Area of the school is not important.
