Despite the loss, Lucas ended his Warriors career exactly as you would expect, dominantly toting the rock. In an offensive battle with Lake Highlands, Josiah made his presence known early and didn’t let up on the gas, rushing for 159 yards and 2 TDs on just 13 carries. Lucas demonstrates great patience and vision after taking the handoff, then using his elite 4.3 speed to accelerate into the second and third levels. He is extremely sudden but collected in his movements, showcasing rapid footwork and great lateral change of direction. In an incredible season, Josiah compiled nearly 1,400 total yards and 26 touchdowns. His legacy has been immortalized for the Warriors, as he now prepares to take his talents to San Diego State.

One of the more underrated senior tailbacks in the country, Lucas boasts electrifying speed (4.3) and stellar ability to make you miss. While not the largest back out there, Lucas runs with tremendous physicality and strong contact balance. He also displays college-ready vision and patience, along with polished footwork and elusiveness. Josiah showcased his traits in Week 3, totaling over 110 yards, which included a 55-yard TD run. The Warriors’ star offensive weapon has pledged his commitment to San Diego State.
