Lee is a defensive lineman who brings a relentless motor and disruptive style of play to the trenches. His quickness off the snap allows him to challenge blockers immediately and create problems before plays fully develop. Lee does an excellent job working off blocks and using his athleticism to penetrate into the backfield. His impact was evident last season, and he enters this year looking to build on that success with an even stronger campaign. The combination of speed, strength and effort makes him a difficult matchup for opposing offensive lines. He consistently pursues the football and plays with the type of energy coaches appreciate. As he continues to develop physically and refine his technique, Lee has the potential to become one of the more productive defenders on his team and should be a name to monitor moving forward.

Lee is another linebacker making an impact at the varsity level as a freshman. The 5’10 210-pound LB had 43 total tackles (8 solo, 35 assisted), 3 TFL, and 1 sack. Lee has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good change of direction, and jumping. Lee uses his good read and reaction time to put himself in a position to succeed. Very good competitive toughness, consistently helping his teammates finish the tackles. Good get off and block shedding with very good blitz take off speed. Lee rips through the OL and gets into the backfield. Good coverage skills as well. Another linebacker I’m excited to see develop more over the off-season.
