Joshua Vaughan Joshua Vaughan 6'1" | 295 lbs | DL Valley | 2026 State KY is another defensive lineman who jumped onto my radar in 2025. Vaughan lined up at defensive tackle where he was very disruptive against the run. He showed the ability to use his strength to fight through blocks with ease followed by the speed to get to the ball carrier with a sense of urgency. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Vaughan has shown the ability to run his feet through contact to secure the tackle quickly. Vaughan finished his senior year with 53 tackles and nine tackles for loss in 12 games. He was also very effective as a pass rusher, recording 12 sacks this past season. Joshua is committed to Mississippi Valley State where I can see him having a successful collegiate career.

My final defensive top performer from Week 7 in the state of Kentucky is Joshua Vaughan Joshua Vaughan 6'1" | 295 lbs | DL Valley | 2026 State KY . Vaughan played a key role in Valley’s dominant win over Waggener. He lines up at defensive tackle where he is very disruptive against the run. Joshua explodes out of his stance and uses his strength to fight through blocks with ease on his way to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he has proven to be a very reliable tackler, finishing last week’s win with a team-high eight tackles. He also caused disruption as a pass rusher, finishing the game with two sacks. Vaughan currently holds offers from Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Morehouse, and Webber International, and I expect more to come his way this season.

Joshua Vaughan Joshua Vaughan 6'1" | 295 lbs | DL Valley | 2026 State KY is another defensive lineman who has caught my attention this season. He has impressive versatility, showing the ability to play both defensive tackle and end. Vaughan is very disruptive in the backfield, showing the ability to shed blocks quickly then use his speed to get to the ball carrier to make the tackle before they can get going. Through six games, Vaughan has accounted for 27 tackles and seven tackles for loss. He is also a very effective pass rusher, recording five sacks this season. Vaughan currently holds offers from Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Morehouse, and Webber International, and I expect that list to continue to grow throughout his senior year.
