Joshua Parker Joshua Parker 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR/ATH Brandon | 2028 State MS is a player I really like on film. The 2028 four-star WR has elite speed and acceleration, and he can eat up a DB’s cushion in a hurry. Parker tracks the deep ball well, creates separation vertically and has the burst to turn short catches into big gains. At midseason, he has 26 catches for 498 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 19.2 yards per catch. He’s also dangerous in the return game with 211 yards. I’d like to see Parker continue developing his releases and physicality against press coverage.

Parker the four-star Brandon wide receiver is coming off a big performance against Clinton, where he caught seven passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns. I like his ability to make plays in the passing game. With that kind of production, he’s continuing to show why he’s one of the state’s top receiving prospects.

Parker is going to have a very good season this year. He is transferring from Jackson Prep over to Brandon High School. There are going to be times where you see him absolutely leave his defenders in the dust. Parker has an amazing first step that allows him to shoot by defenders. This offseason, he has been dedicated to being a better route runner. If he is able to continue to build up his skills, there are not going to be many cornerbacks who are going to be able to stick with him. This is a kid who everybody is going to want to be familiar with this season.

Parker was the most dominant performer at the showcase and earned MVP honors through while excelling in every phase of receiver play. He consistently won 50/50 situations thanks to an elite catch radius, strong hands, and a George Pickens–like ability to play above the rim. Despite a lanky frame, Parker maintained fluidity and balance at the top of his routes, showing twitch and explosiveness out of breaks.

He stacked defensive backs with ease on vertical routes, using long speed and body positioning to create late separation downfield. His ability to smoothly transition from route to finish made him nearly uncoverable, and his consistency across reps set the standard for the offensive group.
