6’1, 190 pounds. 1st-Team All-State honors. Averaged 8+ tackles a game at Hollidaysburg as a junior. A young man whose tape easily makes him a rankable linebacker among his 2026 peers.
Has a deep eight-minute tape on Hudl. First rep on tape has Banks aligned deep into a curl zone. Banks proves he can take correct steps after the snap in support of the run, then escapes to his pass coverage assignment in the flat. Rep results in a pick-six. Next rep proves Banks can rush off the edge in a traditional OLB sense, hand off the dirt. A rare backer who looks just as natural working outside of tackles as a traditional MIKE backer looks between the tackles. Multiple interceptions to his name, a great recognizer of run/pass sets. A perimeter edge-setter who can leans toward the athletic end of the backer spectrum, as opposed to the traditional thumper style of LB. Good grades, continued growth on and off the field could open up Division Two scholarship opportunities in the future.
