About Joseph

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play is calm cool and collective. I am not a loud player. I try to remain humble so I can keep my mind clear and focused on the task at hand.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am laid back. I am a homebody. I enjoy being low key. Not the party animal!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with Old Skewl sports flag footaball, Old skewl GMEN flag football, kingdom way 7v7, NY hustle 7v7 and USA football Jr international team flag football.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned that it is important to listen to your team. In order to be a good leader, you need to be able to hear others and make the right decisions together. Yes, sometimes you need to make a final decision that some don't agree with but that's just how it goes. We remain a united front as a team and work together for the outcome we all want and that is to help the team WIN.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had numerous prep schools trying to recruit me and my home school needing me. I was on was the fence for quite some time. Ultimately, I decided to give the prep thing a chance. I went for the 2-week summer camp and realized nothing is like home. I returned home and have not looked back since. Loyalty is important to me, and I would not want my team to let me go so I cannot do that to them.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a good college that will have an equal balance between academics and athletics. I want the school to be a safe school. Somewhere I can play football, go to class, work and relax!

Royal was a name that caught my eye in Warwick. He is a guy we have as one of our top QB’s in the 2028 Class, and he made a great impression during the showcase. Hailing from Middletown, this showcase was local for him, and he showed out for his hometown. Royal had solid combine numbers, and while he is on the shorter side with his build, he has tons of room to grow. His mechanics could use some work, but his balls had great touch on them, and a good velocity. I liked his accuracy on said throws, and during 1v1 drills he gave his receivers the best chance to make plays.
