Pizzo stands out as he’s a proven dual-threat quarterback. Headlined by a D2 Davenport offer, it’s obvious that his ceiling is high.

A lot of “dual-threat” quarterbacks that I see excel in the run game far more than the pass game. With Pizzo, I’m happy to say it’s more balanced. Pizzo is a good pocket passer who consistently demonstrates a good ability to throw, especially downfield, while in the pocket. That said, he’s relatively calm in the pocket. I’m not sure how good he is at reading a defense, but his deep balls and late-play improvisation is very good.rnAs a runner, Pizzo is fast and decently elusive- what you’d expect from a dual-threat.
