Joseph “JoJo” Accelus is a 5’11, 195 pound Class of 2027 RB/Ath from Monticello, Arkansas. He runs a 4.5. 40 yard dash. JoJo has heard from USC, Arkansas and Iowa. He has offers from Memphis, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Rice, Kent State and UCA. Last season JoJo rushed for 2,371 yards and 25 touchdowns. He had 13 receptions for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns. He is considered an all purpose runningback. In the receiving game, he showed strong hands and fluid route-running skills, giving his quarterback quick windows. He was another top performer for yesterday’s camp.

Accelus demonstrates good post-snap vision and burst through the interior. His lateral quickness and ability to change direction enable him to evade defenders in space or against early penetration, and he quickly takes advantage of cutback lanes. He possesses good contact balance and leg drive to break tackles. In the receiving game, he shows strong hands and fluid route-running skills, making him a potential threat for yards after the catch.
