About Joseph

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 6’2”, 170-lb varsity wide receiver with elite speed and reliable hands. I play fast, physical, and confident, creating separation with sharp route running and quick releases off the line. I’m a smart player who understands coverages, finds soft spots in zones, and blocks hard for my teammates. I attack the ball at its highest point, compete in contested catches, and bring energy every snap.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a focused, hardworking, and coachable athlete who brings a positive attitude every day. I stay disciplined, listen to feedback, and always look for ways to improve my game. I’m competitive but team-first, supporting my teammates and holding myself accountable. I stay calm under pressure, trust my preparation, and lead by example through effort and consistency.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership by leading through example, staying positive, and holding myself and my teammates accountable. I communicate well on and off the field and always look to encourage others. I understand the importance of teamwork by putting the team first, blocking, running full-speed routes, and doing the small things that don’t always show up on stats. I’m committed to giving back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is earning my role on a varsity team as a sophomore. Competing against older, more experienced players pushed me to work harder, stay disciplined, and trust the process. I learned to stay patient, take coaching, and improve every day in the weight room, practice, and film study. This experience has helped me grow mentally and physically.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values both academics and athletics, where I can compete at a high level and continue developing as a wide receiver. I want to be part of a strong football program with great coaching, structure, and a family atmosphere. Academically, I’m looking for a school that will help me grow, prepare for my future career, and support me as a student-athlete.
