Expert Analysis

Jordan “Roy” Heath is one of the most versatile prospects in the 2029 class, capable of impacting the game in all three phases. His size and athleticism allow him to match up well at wide receiver, where he can win contested catches and stretch the field. Defensively, he brings physicality and range whether lined up at linebacker or along the edge. Heath shows a natural ability to read plays and react quickly, making him effective in both run support and pass rush situations. His frame allows him to handle contact while still maintaining mobility in space. He plays with a competitive edge that shows up consistently on film. His versatility makes him a valuable asset for coaches looking to maximize matchups. As he continues to refine his skills, Heath has the potential to be a major producer and a name that gains attention across the region this season.

Team: Prospects Elite
If you told me Prospects Elite’s Joran’Roy Heath was gearing up for his senior year, I would believe you, so imagine the shock when the receiver who had been torching defenses all day is only a freshman. Jordan’Roy stands out with solid size and build at 6’0″ and 180 pounds that held up well going up against physical corners all weekend. He has the strength to press defensive backs off of him when they try to jam him and can outmuscle them at the catch point. Great route runner who can get a clean release getting off the ball and is crisp from the stem through the breakpoint. Heath tracks the ball very well and can adjust his body to make difficult catches outside of his frame… which he did a lot. Very promising player who will only continue to polish his game in the coming years!

Jordan Roy Heath is a talented athlete who is having a strong season as a defender and as a wide receiver. As a wide receiver, he has limited reps, but he shows a good ability to high-point the ball thrown in his direction. The impact he has made is on defense. His ability to play as a defensive end and rush the passer is excellent. He shows his athleticism by making plays in the offensive backfield. On one play, he created an interception by putting pressure on the quarterback and hitting his arm. Heath has the skills to play all over the field, and I am excited to see his potential.
