Kirkpatrick plays big and is a physical corner with the ideal size, length and frame for the next level heading into his Junior season and will only continue to grow and pack on mass over the next two years. He is a natural peddler, quick in transition and breaks fast to the ball in the air with plus length to break up passes underneath and disciplined eyes in zone coverage, often baiting bad throws over the middle or in the flats. He shows he is always around the ball forcing turnovers and is scrappy when getting off blockers and setting the edge. He plays well beyond his years and at a very high level and is going to gather plenty of attention over the next 18 months. He holds offers from Cal, Maryland, North Carolina and Florida among others and is one of the top in the class at his position on the west coast.
