Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a technical tackler that doesn’t let size intimidate me. I am aggressive with my hands and play my position to set my team up with better chances to stop the offense. I want my team to win.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am extremely competitive, whether a board game or a football game, I want to win. I give direction when needed and want to support my team in any aspect I can.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am part of FCA at my school. I was part of the 2nd place team in 2023 and 2024 at Swinney ball at the Clemson football camp. Academically I have received All Principals List All A Honor Roll 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and I am a member of National Honor Society.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
For leadership, I call the plays on defense. After regular practices, I stay afterward and condition on my own in front of my team without prompting. I have helped explain prospect camps to team mates and taken several of them to various camps. For community service, I assist my church with cleaning the roadway and I volunteer with The Miracle League so kids with disabilities can enjoy sports.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I come from a small town and unfortunately a lot of colleges have never even heard of our town or school so we don’t get noticed and the recruiting process is challenging. I am trying to change that as we have some good athletes. A lot of coaches are familiar with Florida and Georgia but I want to help show North Carolina has talent and we can compete with the best of them.
What type of college are you looking for?
I want a college that has a quality education. I want a football program that cherishes me as a person, more than just a player. It must be a good fit and a place I feel that can develop me to my full potential.
