About Jonathan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Explosive, bigger, stronger and more aggressive than most of the eighth grade alignment you can’t teach heart and you can’t teach size

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My family gave me the name, big bear which stands for B- Believe I- in G- God B-Blessed E- every day A-Always R-represent

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Most definitely, I along with my teammates and some teammates that I used to play with after every big major celebration. We pack up all leftovers that day and take it to the homeless shelter. In Atlanta, we also support our team member who has a nonprofit organization to help teens in foster care

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am in the ROTC leadership class in my school I participate in the no bully school zone pep squad. I also like to find resources for other bigger younger alignment like myself to help my mom save money on clothes and food takes a lot to feed the Big and growing bigger bear that I am

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family has some challenges my older brother James has made some bad choices in life and I wanna be an example as what happens when you make smart choices versus what happens when you make bad choices in life

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of college That I would like to go to is not a huge College I’d like a medium sized one where I can grow as a player and with a Oh Line coach that will help me get to the next level not just on the field, but also in life I need a school that I can be both a positive student a positive influence as well as a positive prepared productive player!

“Big Bear” is a dude who is a massive tower on the field and he backs it up with his style of play. His size alone brings attention and it’s hard to not notice such a massive force. His pad level for his size is impressive to me and he’s blocking the best of the best each week playing for a powerhouse. Mayfield is a guy who’s going to rise to the occasion every time and that’s why we will see him do well at all levels.
