Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Hall’s athletic ability, explosion, and hands are all rare. He possesses elite traits that you want to have at the next level. He’s a smart savvy player who picks up on weaknesses of the DBs across from him. He makes everything look easy and is always open, even when he had someone near him. His 160 catches, 1500 yards, and 18 TDs over the past 2 seasons are as good as it gets and locked him in as our top recruit.

The Stanford commit was unstoppable this season. He had 91 catches for 1,423 yards and 16 touchdowns, plus an additional 549 yards on kickoff returns alone. Hall’s improvement since his sophomore season is undeniable, and his upside is through the roof.

Senior. Stanford commit. Great receiver. First time seeing him since sophomore season. Still scratching the surface with his overall potential, has upside through the roof. Plays both I/O receiver spots. Has great breakaway speed and is very good after the catch, can make defenders miss and be elusive in space, can run through tackles and stay balanced. Displays good hands in traffic. Can work on his own over MOF. Above-average route runner, wins contested catches, can long-arm v. press and stay open. Also a return man.

The development of Hall throughout the years has been so much fun to watch. I remember him coming in as a freshman. He was just this young, lengthy, speedy kid who had potential. Since then, he’s developed in every phase of the game and has inked his future with Stanford. He’s currently averaging well over 100 ypg and looking better each week. He’s as explosive as they come and has homerun speed. Through 5 weeks he leads the 6A class with 675 receiving yards and has 6 TDs to accompany them. Hall is as talented as anyone in the state and I cna’t wait to watch him on Saturdays.

It was only a matter of time until Hall took off. He’s always been an explosive athlete who had a great frame and build. He just needed to put it all together on the field. He’s twitchy and can create separation as well as be a big YAC receiver. He’s got a ton of untapped potential and could easily be the best WR from the class when it’s all said and done. We’re not just looking at a potential D1 prospect, but maybe someone who can eye beyond Saturdays if he develops the right way.

JonAnthony Hall JonAnthony Hall 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Fishers | 2025 State IN is someone I’ll be keeping a real close eye on as we work into the second half of this season and especially next season. He’s extremely athletic, evidenced by his participation in football, basketball, and track and it shows on the gridiron. It’s a joy watching Hall compete and how he operates is impressive. He is speedy and can cut on a dime. This often leaves defensive backs on their heels and creates plenty of space to work in. Once Hall has his hands on the ball, it’s tough to bring him down. Shiftiness is a plus when watching Hall. His big play ability is exciting and he is certainly going to keep his name in the spotlight as he continues to develop.
