SMB’s season came to an end this weekend, capping off an impressive run for Jonah Schimelpfenig Jonah Schimelpfenig 5'8" | 150 lbs | WR SMB | 2026 State MN who had a strong senior campaign, leading the conference so far with 654 receiving yards on 36 receptions (18.2 YPC) and 5 TDs. A premier slot-receiver, Schimelpfenig has plenty of speed, shiftiness, and dynamic athleticism to win on both short and long routes. Schimelpfenig is a sharp route-runner who is most dangerous after the catch, proving difficult to tackle and showing great vision in being able to find lanes to switch his direction toward to break away from the secondary. Schimelpfenig has a couple of D3 offers as he will look to take his talents to the next level.

Representing the SMB Wolfpack, 2026 WR Jonah Schimelpfenig Jonah Schimelpfenig 5'8" | 150 lbs | WR SMB | 2026 State MN had to sit 2023 out due to transferring to Minnehaha, but has reintroduced himself in a big way as a now-junior. At 5’8, 160 lbs., Schimelpfenig can play both WR and DB but does his best work on the offensive side of the ball as a slot receiver. Schimelpfenig displays quick, sharp footwork and can create separation at the top of the route, as well as big gains on jet sweeps and other plays utilizing and getting him in space. He shows good vision with the ball in hand, good speed, and can be used as a playmaker on special teams, like when he returns punts, where he shows off his quickness. Can’t wait to see what he can do with a full season worth of reps!
