John is another sleeper DL prospect that has a ton of upside and just needs more eyes on him. A basketball background, he’s got a tall, long, lean frame that could really pass the eye ball test once fully filled out. John shows the ability to use his length to his advantage. Once engaged he can lock out and keep blockers from getting to his chest, as well as long arming as he rushes. He showcases good bend and can chase down plays with explosive closing burst. John is a player that should have a big role for Flowers this fall and can be a late gem steal for a college program.
