I am probably higher on Green than most in the industry at this stage. He perfectly encapsulates what defenses are looking for in this position. He has speed, length, and bend, but he is instinctual and athletic enough to slide back and play off the ball, too. He is a hybrid-style player who can play in space, close ground, line up over receivers, and tackle. He is going to play at a very high level of college football as a result.

“Green is a talented LB who can line up and produce on and off the line of scrimmage. He plays with a ton of speed, power, and pursuit at 6’2 220 that make him a challenge to block every single snap.

I’m really impressed with Green’s run defense. He’s so quick to overwhelm OL and make his way into the backfield, constantly creating stops of loss. Everyone needs to watch out for him going forward.”

I was really blown away by how well Green played last season. Only a sophomore, he already possesses a ton of next-level traits in his game. I won’t be surprised if we see a lot more collegiate attention head Green’s way soon- he’s a talented defender that a lot of people will have circled this upcoming season.

Green has picked up some G5 offers in the last few months, and I don’t think that will end anytime soon.

If you haven’t checked out any of his tape, be sure to watch some of it below!

“It’s tough to ignore the obvious with Green. He’s 6’2 and 220 lbs as a freshman in high school. At LB/EDGE, that’s more than enough for him to be a huge mismatch in the trenches against fellow sophomores and even upperclassmen this upcoming fall.

If what I’m hearing about him is true, which I am sure it is, we have a seriously talented player here who’s soon to pick up a lot of collegiate attention.“

Earlier this offseason, Green picked up offers from Liberty and Southern Miss.

I think Green could be a huge addition to Mary G Montgomery’s defense this fall. We’re going to have to keep an eye on him going forward!
