He also does a great job of holding the edge and forcing everything inside or making the play when he is playing as an edge defender. The other part of his game is his pass-rush moves. He does a good job of chasing quarterbacks and making plays in the backfield. Then he has a motor that never quits. Nelson is a talented player in the 2026 class and a difference-making defensive lineman.

is a talented defensive lineman for McDowell. His ability to fire off the ball and attack the offense is impressive. He has good strength and uses it well to control offensive linemen. He then rips through the offensive lineman and creates chaos by getting into the offensive backfield. He shows good pass-rushing moves by making plays in the offensive backfield. He also shows a motor that never quits as he chases and plays all over the field. Nelson is a good player and has a chance to improve even more.
