The Rancho Cotate product is one of the top defenders in all of northern California and is poised for a huge senior season for one of the top teams in the North Coast section. McClellan has plus length for the position, elite athleticism and is a violent hitter that can cover downfield and bang in the box. He checks all the boxes for the inside linebacker position in college and offers good upside due to length and athleticism/pass rush abilities. After racking up offers from the likes of Colorado State, UNLV, Sac State and Northern Arizona among others he shut down his recruitment this week and committed to Colorado State and will head to Fort Collins this winter.
