Joel Olive Joel Olive 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Gardendale | 2027 State AL is an up-and-coming DB out of Gardendale I’m really excited to watch this upcoming fall.

At 6’2 170, Olive has great size at DB and plays with a ton of speed, both of which help him outmatch WRs and fly around the field to make huge plays. I’m really impressed with Olive’s ability to use his speed to create sideline-to-sideline plays, he’s constantly near the ball helping his teammates come up with stops every snap.

Olive is also really impressive as a run defender- he does a great job flying downhill and pursuing after the ball carrier to make tackles for little to no gain, never allowing for the ball carrier to break free in the open field.

A few weeks back, Olive announced he had received his first offer from West Alabama! It’s always great seeing guys get their first offer, and with his talent, he’ll certainly have more on the way soon.
