Kane is the powerful run blocker Blanchet needs for their run-first scheme. He can be a sharp route runner with timing, but he doesn’t get tired of the dirty work and embraces the blocking WR role that pro teams value highly. He’s tough to bring down, and has the flexibility to torque himself mid-air when leaping for it. He understands his concepts and times them well, and can adjust in the middle to find holes in zone coverage. His football-IQ and role could help him stand out in a scary Blanchet offense next year.

Kane is a dual sport athlete (football/basketball) that is playmaker on both sides of the ball at WR and DB. Well-balanced frame at 5’11” 180 lbs. he’s a smart and calculated player that puts himself in position to be a difference maker. Really like his ability as a DB, shows good instincts and eye discipline allowing him to quickly diagnose plays and anticipate as its developing. He understands his assignment and is a reliable open field tackler that wraps up to the ground. As a receiver, he does a good job finding the soft spot in the defense and proves he can catch in traffic. Would like to see him build on his burst and strength at the POA. Voted second team all-league on both sides of the ball as a sophomore.
