. The Fort Hamilton Lineman, played his first season of New York football in 2025, and made a big impression on scouts. Standing at 6’4″ 310-Pounds, he displays an elite frame for the lineman position.
Puka was mainly used as a Tackle in the Fort Hamilton system, but with his frame, I also like his ability to kick inside and play as a Guard. He has an outstanding IQ, and demonstrates great footwork off the LOS. I like his ability to be used as a Pull Tackle, as he can easily create big gaps in the line. His strength is evident, and he knocks players down with ease.

. I have talked about the talented Fort Hamilton Lineman multiple titmice sin the past few months and for good reason, the Bishop Gorman transfer stands at 6’4″ 310-Pounds, displaying an exceptional frame for the position.

I do want to see continued development of his technique and hand placement, as they both can help him dominate during his Senior Season. Don’t be surprised when he breaks out this Season.

Jireh “Puka” Aleaga. The 6’4″ 310-Pound Lineman, displays outstanding size for the Lineman position, and in person is massive. Puka transferred into New York from national powerhouse Bishop Gorman, Nevada, and had a great season for Fort Hamilton.

Puka is a player I can see playing at the highest level. His size, along with his skills, make him an extremely talented lineman. He is certainly a player I see having a major Senior Season, and with no offers yet for the talented prospect, he is easily an underrated player you should watch.

Your Prep Redzone New York Stock Up Showcase Offensive Line MVP, is Jireh Aleaga. The 2027 Lineman, attends Fort Hamilton, and previously hailed from national powerhouse Bishop Gorman. The 2027 prospect has traits, that easily translate to the next level. He was massive in person, and being one of the first players to arrive he opened multiple scouts eyes with his size and frame. He projects mainly as a Guard, and can be an absolute wrecking ball as a pull Guard. He had some amazing reps, staying low through movements, which in return helped his leverage and balance throughout the afternoon. Aleaga will find himself highly ranked in the 2027 NY Rankings.

Jireh was the clear best offensive lineman at the event, in my opinion. For starters, his size is nuts. 6’4 310, he is a physically imposing human being. He plays with elite pad level, something college coaches are real sticklers for. Defensive lineman could not move him all day. He was solid and couldn’t be moved off his spot. He was also able to get his hands on defensive lineman and control the rep. He’s just a powerful kid. Going to make an offensive lineman coach really happy at the next level.

Because of prospects like Jireh Aleaga, I wish that camps were played in pads. Aleaga is a big, thick, powerful-looking prospect who earned my positional MVP nod. Was he perfect? No. Did he take chances? Yes. There is no doubt in my mind that Aleaga is an interior offensive lineman. He had a tremendous ability to bend and maintain low pad level when inside; however, for whatever reason all this elevated when he challenged himself to play tackle. I also am not sure whether or not his feet improved as the day went on or if they are just inconsistent. Yet make no mistake about it: I wish Aleaga was suited up in pads because I suspect this prospect can be an old school road-grading War Daddy.

Aleaga’s imposing size (6’4”/310) and natural strength have him positioned as the top OL prospect early into the 2027 recruiting cycle. He moves well for his size, is overpowering at the POA, and gets off the ball with quick, explosive drive out of his stance. He moves bodies once he gets his hands on them and finishes blocks with violence through the whistle. Aleaga- who picked up offers from San Jose St. and UNLV last year- should continue to add to his offer list with the size and physicality he offers.

is set to be a top 2027 prospect in the entire state of Nevada. Jireh has already received two FBS offers so don’t be surprised when he becomes a top Nevada recruit before his sophomore season ends. A great combination of size and quickness shows exploding off the ball and sustaining blocks versus older defensive linemen. Good power and quickness shows knocking knifing edge rushers off balance with one punch. Jireh has the patience, strength, and footwork to develop into a collegiate pass blocking prospect well before his senior year gets here.

Aleaga’s a massive presence upfront for Green Valley at 6’4”/310. He moves defenders in the run game with his dominant size/strength and finishes blocks with violent intent. He could be more active with his leg drive but has plenty of time to develop his technique and overall skillset. Aleaga, who picked up his first pair of offers from UNLV and San Jose St. early in 2023, presents some of the highest upside of any OL in Nevada’s 2027 class.
