Ott is a bit hidden at a small school that runs the triple-threat option, but he’s the kind of QB who can force them to open things up. He’s got a quick release, throws a tight spiral, and can drop it in downfield with touch. His teardrop throws are smooth, and he can put the ball right in the bucket when given the chance. I’d like to see him get more opportunities to air it out because the arm talent is there, and it feels like there’s more he can show.
