Jones is a balanced and polished young running back who does a lot of things well. He runs with good burst and agility, showing the ability to create plays both inside and in space. His all-around skill set stands out, as he contributes as both a runner and receiving option out of the backfield. He plays under control and consistently maximizes opportunities when the ball is in his hands. With two more years to develop, Jones has the potential to become one of the more complete backs in Oregon.

Jones brought explosiveness to McDaniel’s offense and was a constant big-play threat. His burst and quickness made him difficult to contain once he reached the second level. Jones consistently provided a spark whenever he touched the football. As he continues to develop, he projects as one of the league’s more dangerous playmakers.

A dynamic, low-to-the-ground back with excellent speed, Jones will bring big-play ability to the backfield and line up at receiver when needed. Millage believes Jones and Fakapulia are among the best sophomores in Oregon.
