2026 X Film Study 6

<p>The X Film Study series continues with another group of intriguing prospects from across Oregon, featuring players from multiple classifications and programs. The post on my X profile is above.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Teeney is a high-level athlete who played a major role for the 5A state champions and shows real upside as a safety prospect. He moves extremely well in space and has the range to impact plays all over the field. His athleticism and instincts allow him to close quickly and make plays on the football, while his versatility gives him value in multiple defensive looks. The Idaho commit brings a strong combination of physical tools and competitiveness to the secondary. FCS Idaho landed a very intriguing defensive prospect with plenty of upside still ahead.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Skinner is a well-rounded linebacker prospect who combines athleticism, physicality, and strong football instincts. He processes quickly and consistently puts himself in a position to make plays against both the run and pass. His tackling ability stands out, as he arrives with confidence and finishes through contact. He also moves well laterally, allowing him to pursue sideline to sideline effectively. He thrives in short-yardage situations and consistently finishes runs with physicality. For a bigger back, he shows impressive athleticism and movement, giving him intriguing versatility as both a runner and a potential H-back/fullback at the next level. His frame and toughness make him difficult to bring down once he gets downhill. With continued development athletically, he has the tools to become a very impactful offensive piece.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Lagunas brings natural strength and leverage to the offensive line, allowing him to create movement in the run game. He plays with solid balance and understands how to use his frame to gain positioning at the point of attack. His physicality shows up when he gets engaged and drives defenders off the ball. As he continues to improve his overall movement skills and athleticism, his game can continue taking steps forward. The toughness and natural leverage are solid traits to build on moving ahead.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">Jones is a balanced and polished young running back who does a lot of things well. He runs with good burst and agility, showing the ability to create plays both inside and in space. His all-around skill set stands out, as he contributes as both a runner and receiving option out of the backfield. He plays under control and consistently maximizes opportunities when the ball is in his hands. With two more years to develop, Jones has the potential to become one of the more complete backs in Oregon.</p>
