Despite being a taller defender, he bends well – so much so to the point that he will dip his shoulder around the edge to make a play. Keep with that theme, the taller Denobile tackles at the thigh pads or below, while ensuring he has a vice-like wrap. I would describe Denobile’s style of play as that of a disrupting penetrator. Lastly, his big frame allows him to be an equal opportunist in making the play on both the give and the keep when using the surf technique.
