About Jerrick

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a hard-hitting, quick defensive back with a nose for the ball and a mindset built for impact. I pride myself on reading plays fast, reacting even faster, and delivering hits that make receivers think twice. Whether I’m locking down in man coverage or coming downhill to stop the run, I bring intensity every snap. I’m not just there to cover—I’m there to set the tone.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ve got a tough, hardworking, team-first mentality. I don’t shy away from the grind, I embrace it. I show up every day ready to work, put in the extra reps, and do whatever it takes to get better. I hold myself accountable, and I push my teammates to do the same. It’s never about just me—it’s about the team, the mission, and doing my job so the guy next to me can do his.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of NHS and do occasional volunteer work for my community. I am also a member of NSHSS. I have gotten Honor roll that last 2 years and plan to get it this coming year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through football, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about being the loudest voice—it’s about setting the standard. It’s showing up early, staying late, and being consistent when no one’s watching. I’ve learned that teamwork means trusting the guy next to you, holding each other accountable, and sacrificing personal glory for the bigger picture.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This last season, during the third game, I tore both shoulder and my right hip labrums. I didn't find out till after the season but i had to battle through that injury for the last 5 games of the season.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that feels like family—a tight-knit team, coaches who care, and a strong culture. I want an awesome campus with great energy and top-notch facilities. Academics are big for me too—I want to be challenged and set up for success beyond football.

Oh, another talented two-way player for Mosinee? You better believe it. Jerrick is an electric, big play receiver for the Indians. He is a very quick twitch, elusive player on offense. You get him in motion, then in space and that can pay dividends on for your team. Jerrick is a lockdown cornerback on defense. He has the athleticism and speed to stick to his receiver for the entire route. He has great footwork and is physical at the LOS. Jerrick could be a weapon for any college program.
