We wrap up our first installment of standout athletes with my favorite DB from the day. The 5’10” 170 lbs athlete ran 4.49 in the 40, jumped 31.9″ in the vertical, ran a 4.38 shuttle, and also put up a 7.19 L-Drill. There was no doubt that we were in store for a good showing from the extremely athletic CB.
I was able to dial in on the DBs during 1 on 1s and Jeremiah quickly stood out with the best of the group. He was so twitchy, able to quickly mirror route breaks. His acceleration kept him tight on his man out of breaks and also closed any gap that may have been opened up. The ’26 showed really good timing to attack the ball to break up the pass. He was not afraid to get physical vs WRs either. The ’26 CB played with the athleticism and the mental confidence needed to be out on an island. It was a great day for the Martin Luther DB. His stock is definitely on the rise.
