About Jeremiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My coaches have described me as a player with tremendous field vision. I am adaptive and prefer to allow the play to develop before attacking or executing. I am comfortable when placed in leadership positions and am known for encouraging fellow teammates with positive affirmation even when under pressure.i

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My core personality is that of a go-getter. I don't wait for things or opportunities to come to me, I actively seek them out. I practice visualizing my dreams/aspirations then work to make them a reality both in the classroom and on the field. While I can be cautious, I tend to make friends easily. Helping oth ers is important to me.I don't get overwhelmed easily. Under pressure, I'm calm.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In 2024, I made the honor roll and was invited to join the Jr. Honors society. In 2023, I received an award recognition as a person caught doing a random act of kindness award and the certificate of character award for displaying strong character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe that character is who a person is when noone is looking and that empathy is a superpower that develops the most impactful leaders. Teamwork is when people understand that to go fast, one can travel alone but to go far, we have to travel together. I've been blessed to join my parents in delivering cmas gifts to kids in need and serving families food during Thanksgiving.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My life has been one of more triumph than challenges, thankfully. But finding the right football team that feels like home plus offers great coaching and play opportunities. Changing schools. Also, in 2019, watching my grandma almost die from covid & suffer/recover from a stroke in 2024. Keeping her motivated to fight for her life to see me play pro someday.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a D1 college with great athletic coaching and facilities preferably in a warm climate. I'm also interested in a college that offers a great communications or engineering degree program.
