Leftwich has been on our radar for a while now and he finally is getting the recognition he deserves. Jeff just landed his first D1 offer from Southern University in the SWAC conference. If Leftwich can be a main target for Roosevelt expect him to end the season with a handful of offers. I’m excited to see how his season pans out, keep an eye on him.

Jeff is a player I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate on a few occasions and brings his toolbox with him every time. He is really quick and twitchy and runs hard, sharp routes. In the slot he’s a mismatch, you have to have a veteran DB covering him. Along with violent feet he will lay out for the ball and get scrappy with the ball in the air.

Leftwich is a familiar face at the IAA Showcase circuit; before the seasons start Left which tore up the IAA showcase showcasing his crisp and explosive route running. This time around was like DeJa’Vu. He put his route running skills on full display but brought some impressive hands along with him, which is an improvement from last year’s showcase. Keep an eye for Leftwich to have a big year with the help of the lethal Roosevelt passing game.
