A big jumbo-athlete with plenty of size at 6-foot-6 235-pounds, Wessel is a big target in the passing game as a sure-handed tight end with the ability to turn around and attack the quarterback on defense. The physically gifted sophomore stands at 6-foot-6 235-pounds and can overpower opponents with ease. On offense, Wessel hauled in 18 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns. He showed he can make a tough catch in traffic and pick up big yards after the catch. Defensively, the St. Simons native shows active hands and enough strength to fight off blocks and tackle the ball-carrier. He earned a big offer this week from Texas A&M and should see more come his way soon.
