Jayden Nigro Jayden Nigro 5'10" | 160 lbs | WR Verona | 2026 State NJ from Verona High School is 5’10” and 170 pounds. Simply labeling Jayden as a wide receiver doesn’t do justice to his versatility. He’s lined up everywhere — wide receiver, running back, wildcat quarterback — and also plays defensive back on the other side of the ball.
Offensively, Jayden shines brightest at receiver, particularly in the slot. His ability to create sudden separation at the top of routes stands out on film. He’s even turned that separation into easy touchdowns. Add in his soft hands and consistent ability to secure catches, and you see why he’s such a reliable weapon.
As a running back, Jayden shows outstanding contact balance, burst through the hole, and underrated quickness in the open field. He’s one of the premier all-around playmakers in New Jersey. He may not get the recognition he deserves just yet, but he’s a key engine for Verona’s offense, consistently moving the ball down the field.
I’ll be keeping a close eye on him this season.
