Jayden Griffin Jayden Griffin 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Dora | 2025 State AL has dominated the 4A throughout his whole high school career, and this season was no different. As a ball carrier Griffin thrives off his quickness, vision, and athleticism. Griffin plays with a lot of patience behind the line of scrimmage and consistently waits for the perfect moment to strike- he does a great job seeing the field and following blocks to gain the most possible yardage each carry. On top of that, Griffin is highly athletic and has the skills to exploit defenses- he can outrun anyone, has some serious elusiveness, and can fight through contact for some big plays. Griffin was near unstoppable this season for Dora’s rushing attack, he ended the year recording 225 carries for 2422 yards and 33 touchdowns against some tough defenses all around the state. Griffin has been one of the top rushers in the state throughout his career, be sure to watch his film, he’s got a ton of talent to offer!

He has done it without a super high amount of carries as well, rushing for over 12 yards per carry. Griffin is explosive and has the speed to run away from his current level of competition. It’s his vision and patience that ties everything together. He locates cutback opportunities at a high level and has enough change of direction to take advantage of them. Griffin is speedy and stays away from contact, although he welcomes it when needed. It’s hard to believe Griffin won’t get an opportunity at the next level as he is one of the most prolific rushers in the entire country.

As a ball carrier Griffin thrives off his quickness, vision, and athleticism. He’s very patient behind the line of scrimmage and consistently waits for the perfect moment to strike- he does a great job seeing the field and following blocks to gain the most possible yardage each carry. On top of that, Griffin is highly athletic and has the skills to exploit defenses- he’s got great speed, can make defenders miss, and can fight through contact and take hits as well as anyone. It’s been easy to see these traits on film- Griffin has recorded 128 carries for 1186 yards and 15 touchdowns in just 6 games. Be sure to watch Griffin the rest of this year, he’s been a consistent playmaker for Dora the last few seasons and is having his best year yet!
