Jayden has put on good size this offseason. He has good length and is a natural as a cover corner. During these 7’s I enjoy getting to watch prospects like Jayden play on the opposite side of the ball. He has a good release and does well getting vertical. He played the majority of his snaps on the defensive side and had did a good job in coverage and when in zone, showed good closing speed and his long strides allow him to cover a lot of space. He has great instincts and is a player that is effective as a cover cornerback and has the size, physicality, and range to be a deep safety.

I’d argue Cumbee is the best player on the team and is going to be an important piece on defense to cover the opposing team’s WR1. Cumbee is an athletic mover, has good hip fluidity, and has good ball tracking skills. Cumbee can be a press corner or off coverage. He is a versatile corner who can mesh with any scheme. Great upside, and he should showcase his talents this year, true D1 athlete and Power-Four upside.

Cumbee is an excellent athlete and an elite cover corner. He transfers up to Bingham this year and he’ll be a shut-down cover corner. Cumber has great hip fluidity and moves well laterally. He has good speed and shows that he can stick to the hip pocket of his receiver and has great footwork. Cumbee can also play off coverage and has great instincts and the ability to turn and burn. He’s a Power-Four talent and is the top cover corner of the class.

Cumbee transfers in from Summit Academy, and he showcases great length and frame. He should be able to gain an additional 20 lbs with relative ease and fill out his frame. Cumbee is a physical, athletic playmaker with good footwork. He is a versatile athlete who can be a boundary cover corner or one of the safety positions. Cumbee’s physicality and closing ground with minimal strides make him an ideal safety. He is a willing tackler, shows good anticipation, and supports in the run game. As a cover corner, he showcases good hips and lateral movement which helps him stick to his man. Cumbee showcases further length and physicality when a boundary corner as he can press his man and if a ball is coming his way, will attempt to make a play on the ball with his closing speed and long limbs. He has good speed and can turn and burn and keep up with speedier receivers. Cumbee has a bright future and a tremendous ceiling, he’s a Power-Four recruit and starter at the next level. He has all the tool set you want in a defensive back.
