is a name you ought to be familiar with, a prospect that can do many things well, and one that colleges ought to know about. Carter simply explodes down hill in the short passing game from his safety position. I feel as though he is a very good tackler, as evidenced by him actively attacking and wrapping through the ball carrier’s thigh boards. Understanding run fits, we see Jersey’s #19 ranked defensive back in his class act as a force player as he plays great team defense. Carter plays the short and intermediate routes extremely well, and looks to play the ball more times than not. As a very good tackler, Carter brings an element of physicality to the edge as well, using his hands to shed blockers who threat the slot area/ally well.

With a taller frame and smooth movement, he surveyed the field with confidence and reacted quickly to developing plays. Carter had a knack for getting between the receiver and the quarterback, swatting passes away just as they arrived. Opposing offenses quickly learned that throwing his way was a risky decision—he made it tough for anyone to find success on his side of the field.
