Two Rivers High School always seems to stock more than their fair share of beef on their rosters, with some of the bigger offensive linemen in Class 5A the past handful of seasons. It comes as no surprise that Two Rivers brought a big, physical trench warfare specialist into the PRZMN Spring Showcase last Saturday, and 6’2, 250 lber. Jayden Bender Jayden Bender 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Two Rivers | 2027 MN came to play. With a broad, hulking frame that carried his weight well, Bender was positionally versatile and heavy handed, able to win 1v1 pass-rushing reps from NG, 3T, or 5T, and he produced one of the more memorable reps of the entire session, planting an OC straight on his butt with a massive punch from the interior whose echo could be heard around the Plymouth Community Center. Bender also showed the ability to run the hoop on blockers, as well as hand fight, work a move, and disengage from OL with a counter if need be. Stock rising performance from the West St. Paul product!
