Ashford’s eyes are disciplined too, as he reads his matchups hips when in man coverage. When zoned up he does a nice job of passing off offensive threats through his zone. Using his body and the field to his advantage, we see him influence receivers into the boundary without using his hands, eliminating any space they have to make a catch in the process. Although he did show some good things on film as a receiver, I like him a whole lot more as a corner.
